Betsy is a compassionate therapist who recognizes the heavy burden stress, grief, anxiety, and other life challenges can bring. With a genuine focus on openness, safety, and trust, she creates a therapeutic space where individuals can explore the impact of mental health on their life and be empowered to make positive changes toward greater balance and healing.

In therapy sessions, Betsy is dedicated to building coping skills that foster resilience, self-esteem, and a renewed sense of purpose. With a deep commitment to improving well-being, Betsy specializes in helping individuals navigate difficult emotions and experiences through meaningful conversation and a variety of therapeutic approaches including: dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, family systems, mindfulness practices, solution focused brief therapy, and relational therapy.

Inviting individuals to share their stories and find meaning in life’s challenges, Betsy works alongside clients to develop practical strategies for managing stress and alleviating emotional pain. Betsy brings expertise in a wide range of areas, including grief and loss, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, neurodivergence (including ADHD and ASD), family conflict, women’s health issues, and caregiver burnout.
