TPC stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter civil rights movement and the fight for racial justice. We condemn the systematic racism and state-endorsed violence inflicted upon Black people. TPC condemns act of racism, violence, and discrimination against Indigenous people and people of color. As an organization dedicated to the emotional and spiritual well-being and healing of those in our community, TPC is committed to providing a safe, welcoming space to all.

We are taking the following actions to ensure TPC is best able to meet the needs of the people we serve while also bettering our community:

– Researching the development of Client Aid Funds specifically dedicated to assisting BIPOC families and individuals
– Recommitting to the priority hiring of BIPOC therapists so we may provide inclusive, culturally specific, and affirming healing modalities to all
– Maintaining awareness and remaining intentional regarding TPC’s spending, with focus on supporting BIPOC- and women-owned small businesses for our office and contracting needs

For a list of materials and resources, please download TPC’s Racial Justice PDF using the button below. This is curated for white people who wish to educate themselves on the issues of racism, white supremacy, police violence, and on how to be an effective ally, but is accessible to all.
