Prior to becoming Clinical Director, Alana Frazier (she/her) served as Center Director of TPC from March 2022–August 2025 and has been a staff clinician since 2013. She is a licensed clinical social worker and has provided counseling in the Raleigh area since 2007, working in a range of settings including Dorothea Dix Hospital, Duke University Medical Center, and Central Regional Hospital, as well as in outpatient therapy. Her clinical experience spans treating children as young as age two through adolescence, as well as working with families and adults.
This breadth of practice has given Alana a deep appreciation for the unique strengths of individuals and their support systems, along with a commitment to honoring each person’s lived experience and perspective. Her therapeutic orientation integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, insight-oriented therapy, and narrative therapy. She specializes in supporting clients with behavior management, emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, parenting across diverse family structures, and navigating life transitions.
Alana’s guiding goal is to build relationships that respect and reflect each client’s values, goals, spirituality, and personal story.
