Alana Frazier has a great deal of respect and admiration for individuals and families who seek the support of a therapeutic relationship. Her experience includes treating children ages 2 to 18 years of age, families, and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This array of experience has given Alana insight and knowledge in developing a treatment approach, which not only builds on the strengths of individuals and their support systems, but values each personal experience and perspective.
Alana’s therapeutic orientation includes play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, insight-oriented therapy, and narrative therapy. Much of her experience focuses on behavior management, emotion regulation, issues related to foster care and adoption, anxiety, depression, parenting in various family structures, and life transitions. Alana’s intent in establishing a relationship is to honor each individual’s and family’s values, goals, spirituality, and personal experiences.
