Brigitta Goshen (she/her) seeks to create a compassionate and supportive space where clients can fully express themselves, explore their challenges, and walk away with a deeper understanding of who they are and who they want to become. She works with children, teens, young adults, and individuals navigating various life transitions.
Much of Brigitta’s therapeutic work has focused on depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. She has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Brigitta’s therapeutic orientation includes a variety of modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based approaches. She aims to come alongside clients, recognizing that they are the experts in their lives, and work together to build self-acceptance, enhance executive functioning skills, and foster a sense of pride and self-advocacy.
Brigitta specializes in working with clients on spiritual and religious concerns. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals who have experienced religious trauma, helping them navigate complex emotions, heal from past wounds, and rebuild a healthy relationship with their spirituality or belief system. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, Brigitta is committed to creating a welcoming and affirming space for individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations, ensuring everyone feels accepted and respected.
Brigitta works part-time at TPC’s Millbrook Road office in Raleigh and part-time virtually. Her goal is to partner with clients, value their experiences, and work together to build confidence and skills that will help them heal, grow, and thrive.
