Fees & Insurance

To inquire about scheduling an appointment, call our office at 919-845-9977. You may leave a voicemail providing your contact information. Counselors keep their own schedules, so you will receive a call back to schedule any appointment which works for both of you. It is recommended for the person seeking counseling to make the appointment.

Sessions may be 45-60 minutes in length. This varies based on schedules, financial constraints, and emotional needs, and should be discussed with your counselor.

Referrals are always welcome from clergy, physicians, lawyers, other therapists, community agencies, clients, family members, and friends. A referral is not necessary to schedule an appointment.

Fees will be discussed during your initial consultation with one of our counselors. We can file insurance, but coverage varies according to each insurance plan. We encourage you to check with your provider in advance to verify your mental health/behavioral health coverage. Our counselors are in-network providers with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. Each counselor may also participate in- or out-of-network with other insurance panels.

For those not using insurance, we can use an adjustable fee schedule based on income. Please review our Client Aid Funds for further information.

Payment is expected at the time of service unless arrangements are made in advance with the therapist. We accept cash, check, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.
